refill instructions – Rosmarin Atelier

Here are the detailed instructions to ensure your pot is clean and ready for a new refill, preserving its beauty and functionality:

Remove Wax Residue:

  • Recommended Method: Use a hairdryer (on low/medium heat) to soften any remaining wax at the bottom of the pot.

  • Tilt the pot and gently remove the melted wax with a paper napkin. Repeat if necessary until most of the wax has been removed.

  • Safety Tip: Ensure the old wick is completely removed before proceeding.

  • What to avoid: Do not use water or sharp metal utensils. Water can leave residues that interfere with the burning of the new refill, and sharp objects can damage the delicate surface of your ResinCrete pot.

    Final Cleaning and Drying:

  • With a new, dry paper napkin, carefully wipe away any oily residue that may have remained on the inside of the pot. The goal is for the surface to be clean and smooth.

  • Important: Do not use water, solvents, abrasive detergents, or other chemical products to clean your Rosmarin Atelier pot. Our ResinCrete pots are made from an ecological mineral composite and may react to these products, damaging their beauty and durability.

  • Ensure the pot is completely clean and dry before inserting the refill. Moisture is a great enemy of a perfect candle burn.

    Inserting the Refill:

  • Unpack your Rosmarin Atelier refill.

  • Centralize carefully the refill at the bottom of your clean, dry pot. Gently press it down to secure it.

  • Adjust the wick so it is straight and centered.

  • Using a wick trimmer or regular scissors, trim the wick to approximately 0.5 cm (1/4 inch) in length before the first burn.

  • Congratulations! Your Rosmarin Atelier pot is ready for a new cycle of light, aroma, and well-being.
